Christ-Centered Curriculum
As an LCMS School, we take pride in helping students achieve in all academic areas. We also place great value in having all our subjects taught with a faith-based foundation.
Our early grades religion curriculum was written by Principal Jess Koch to share common Bible stories chronologically in ways that are easy to understand and link to teachings we follow as an LCMS school.
Our K-2 curriculum for all subjects comes from BJU Press. Christian worldview themes can be seen in all areas from Science to Spelling, Math to English. Supplemental activities like centers and extended learning will be brought in with monthly or weekly themes.
Music will be taught twice weekly by Ray Calderon and centered on nurturing musical creativity, exploration, expression, literacy, and performance. Musical activities will feature lessons of faith and interdisciplinary correlation, heightening the musical experience.
